QQ Cafe Staff volunteering to help feed Homeless youth during Thanksgiving.

Community

Since opening its doors, QQ Cafe has been supportive of its local community by donating food, volunteering time, or providing special discounts.

Feeding 1,000+ Homeless Youth
Every holiday season QQ Cafe proudly sponsors The C.I.T.Y. x1 Youth Group, a local nonprofit organization, in their efforts to feed Homeless LGBT and at-risk youth. C.I.T.Y. x1 annually produces its "Big Feast" Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner, which feeds 200 youth and provides them with a complete Thanksgiving Dinner with all of the trimmings, a dance, raffle prizes, and community resources. On this special day, the QQ Cafe Staff volunteers their time, donates food, and also helps organize the event.

For Christmas, C.I.T.Y. x1 produces its "Tamale Jam" Holiday Dinner and dance, which also services over 200 local Homeless youth. QQ Cafe has sponsored both events for years and together with this organization has fed over 1,000 youth.

Supporting Children
QQ Cafe is a strong supporter of the Hollywood Sunset Free Clinic's annual Children's Holiday Party.

This very special event services children from the local community and provides them with free food, Christmas Carolers, entertainment, and raffles. In 2016, QQ Cafe held a Toy Drive at its restaurant and helped collect over 600 toys to give away at the party and our very own Ray Sanchez even dressed up as Santa Claus.

City of L.A. Recognition
In 2015, QQ Cafe was recognized by The City of Los Angeles for its on-going charitable work. L.A. City Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell (District 13) presented QQ Cafe Owner Ray Sanchez with a special City Commendation.
